Our farm is located on the outskirts of Hyderabad, near Lemoor Village. It is a short drive from the airport in Shamshabad. We have approximately 380 buffaloes on site, and close to 80 cows. The animals are taken care of by our experienced on site veterinary doctors and driven milking staff. Through stringent practices, and expert supervisors we ensure the unparalleled health of our animals and staff.
Our award winning and high quality Murrah buffaloes are sourced from Haryana, and are kept at premium quality to ensure maximum quality of milk. Our animals are kept in well ventilated and lighted sheds, and are given adequate movement space. Our animals are given high quality and nutrient filled fodder, as per the guidelines of the OVM method, which says that with better feed, we get better milk. This ensures the milk is nutritious and flavorful. Our animals are milked humanely and we take all measures to keep them at the epitome of health. They have special exercise paddocks, in which they move freely and graze for around 4 hours a day. On the off chance that something goes wrong, we have a team of skilled veterinary doctors on site, and a senior veterinary consultant on call. We do not give hormones, like oxytocin, that affect the animal or milk drop amount. When animals fall sick, we give them alternative medicines to recover, instead of antibiotics, which will affect the milk. We have special labor sheds for animals in labor, or animals nursing calves. Milk from sick animals is not mixed into the milk, but is sterilized and treated with UV rays to make it safe to drink, and given to the calves. Once an animal no longer gives milk, we do not send them to the slaughter house, or cull them, but keep them to die a natural and peaceful death. In short, our animals are treated in the most humane way possible, to give the best milk, and we go to great lengths to ensure the safety and quality of life for the animals.
Our farm is powered through our biogas generators, which in turn is powered by the waste collected on our farm. Using our anaerobic generator, manure separator and recycling methods, our harmful emissions have gone down by over 70%.
We have been recognized nationally, as one of the leading pioneers in this type of energy use, and have been invited to various conferences, summits and workshops on the same throughout India.
Our farm produces organic manure and vermicompost that is used for growing our own fodder and our mango orchards.
